Water restrictions and dam levels

When the combined level of the South East Queensland Water Grid dams fall below 60%, Seqwater and Unitywater will activate the region’s drought response plan.

While the recent rain has kept lawns and parks green, it doesn't always fall where we need it. We're asking everyone to be water wise - if we all make small changes to our water usage, we can make a big impact!

Our COVID-19 response

Unitywater would like to assure our community that water and sewerage services are unaffected by COVID-19. We have a strong COVID-19 response plan in place to ensure that we continue to provide essential water and sewerage services, and support our customers and community through this pandemic.

We're only carrying out essential works during this time however there may still be interruptions to your water supply. We are delivering water to properties where possible and ask that you please remember to keep a safe distance from our Field crews to protect your health and safety and that of our people.

Dam levels

Seqwater manages the dams in our region. When combined dam levels fall below 60%, we will be in the ‘drought readiness’ phase of the region’s Drought Response Plan. Seqwater is asking South East Queenslanders to start looking at ways to be more water wise as we approach another dry season. Read more here.
